Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Environmental Advisory & Project Coordination
Role Summary
Support the execution and coordination of Environmental, Climate Change, Biodiversity, ESG, Sustainability, and EHS consulting projects across Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Renewable Energy, Mining, Transportation, Urban Development, and Industrial sectors. The role will act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for clients and stakeholders, ensuring seamless project execution and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Environmental Advisory: ESA Phase I & II, Environmental Due Diligence (EDD), IEE, Environmental & Social Monitoring, Environmental Feasibility Studies.
- Biodiversity & Ecology: Biodiversity Assessments, BNG, Nature-based Solutions (NbS), Tree Inventory, Greenbelt Development, Ecological Restoration, Wildlife Conservation Plans, TNFD Reporting.
- EHS & ESG: EHSS Inspections, HIRA, Supply Chain E&S Audits, ESG Assurance, Net Zero Claim Assurance, GHG Accounting & Verification, Sustainability Assurance.
- Field Activities: Site Visits, Baseline Surveys, Environmental Monitoring, GIS-based Assessments, Data Collection, Stakeholder Consultations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Environmental Permitting, Statutory Compliance, Environmental & Social Standards, Regulatory Due Diligence.
- Project Coordination (SPOC): Act as the primary point of contact between Clients, Regulatory Authorities, Contractors, Laboratories, Survey Agencies, and Internal Teams to ensure smooth communication and timely project delivery.
- Project Management: Coordinate project schedules, deliverables, resources, documentation, quality requirements, and project progress.
- Reporting: Prepare Technical Reports, Risk Assessments, Management Plans, Compliance Reports, Client Presentations, and Technical Proposals.
- Business Support: Assist in Proposal Development, Resource Planning, Quality Management, Client Relationship Management, and Business Development initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Environmental Regulations, ESG Frameworks, Climate Policies, Biodiversity Standards, and International Best Practices.
Qualification
Education
- M.Sc. in Environmental Science / Ecology / Natural Resources / Water Resources
- M.Tech. / B.E. / B.Tech. (Environmental, Civil, Chemical or related discipline)
- Or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
Experience
- 2–5 years in Environmental Consulting, ESG, Sustainability, Climate Change, Biodiversity, EHS, or Environmental Project Management.
