Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting is mandatory.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Business Finance, FP&A, or MIS reporting.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, SAP knowledge; MIS reporting and analytics experience.
• Ability to work under month-end closing, budgeting, and audit cycles.

Job Description

Role Purpose

The Senior Executive - Business Finance will support financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis activities across the business. The role is responsible for providing timely and accurate financial insights, monitoring business performance against budgets and forecasts, ensuring financial compliance, and driving process automation initiatives to improve efficiency and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Budgeting

• Support the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Analyze variances between actual performance, budgets, and forecasts, and provide actionable insights.
• Assist business stakeholders in financial planning, budgeting, and cost management activities.
• Monitor key financial performance indicators and highlight risks and opportunities.
• Prepare management reports, MIS dashboards, and financial performance summaries.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and meaningful reporting for internal stakeholders.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Provide insights on profitability, revenue trends, and cost optimization opportunities.

Business Performance Monitoring

• Review budget utilization and identify potential deviations well in advance.
• Support corrective actions through robust financial analysis and recommendations.
• Track financial outcomes against business objectives and assist leadership in performance reviews.

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure adherence to financial policies, accounting standards, and internal control requirements.
• Support audit activities and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports.

Process Improvement & Automation

• Participate in finance process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Assist in enhancing reporting systems, dashboards, and analytical tools.
• Support digital transformation efforts within the finance function.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and provide business support.
• Build effective working relationships with business leaders and finance teams.
• Communicate financial insights clearly and effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Educational Qualifications Mandatory

• Postgraduate degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or a related discipline.

Preferred

• CA (Inter), CMA, MBA (Finance), M.Com, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification.

Technical Skills Preferred

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Financial Models, Dashboards)
• Advanced PowerPoint presentation skills
• Knowledge of SAP and accounting systems
• Experience with MIS reporting and business analytics tools
• Exposure to automation tools such as Power BI, Power Query, or similar platforms

Experience Required

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Business Finance, FP&A, Management Reporting, or Financial Analysis.
