Mando Automotive is seeking a Chartered Accountant to join the Internal Audit Team as Senior Executive / Assistant Manager - Internal Audit. The role focuses on conducting internal audits, ensuring compliance, and driving improvements across functions.

The successful candidate will coordinate audits, report findings to Management, and support automation of ICOFR controls while ensuring timely implementation of agreed actions at Pillaipakkam SIPCOT near Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with relevant audit experience.
• Proven ability to conduct internal audits and ensure compliance.
• Experience in driving process improvements and supporting internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits across all audit cycles per the approved schedule and prepare audit reports.
• Discuss audit observations with process owners and obtain corrective action plans.
• Present findings to Management and incorporate feedback.
• Monitor action plan implementation with process owners to ensure timely closure.
• Perform periodic compliance audits using established checklists and report results.
• Identify critical processes and assist in documenting SOPs.
• Identify ICOFR manual controls and collaborate to drive automation.
• Coordinate with process owners to gather data for internal audit activities.
• Support K-SOX audits and related compliance requirements.

About the Role

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our Internal Audit Team as a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager - Internal Audit.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting internal audits, ensuring compliance, driving process improvements, supporting internal controls, and coordinating audit activities across functions.

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct audits across all audit cycles as per the approved audit schedule and prepare comprehensive audit reports.
• Discuss audit observations with process owners, identify root causes, and obtain corrective action plans.
• Present audit findings and reports to Management and incorporate their feedback.
• Monitor and follow up with process owners to ensure timely implementation of agreed action plans.
• Perform periodic compliance audits based on established checklists and present findings to Management.
• Identify critical processes within each audit cycle and support process owners in developing and documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Identify key ICOFR (Internal Controls over Financial Reporting) manual controls and collaborate with respective teams to drive automation initiatives.
• Coordinate with process owners to collect and validate data required for internal audit activities.
• Provide support for K-SOX audits and related compliance requirements.
