Job summary

Sun Pharma in Baroda is seeking a Senior Executive in Analytical Development (Non-Orals) to lead method development, validation, transfer, and troubleshooting for a range of dosage forms. The role requires hands-on chromatographic and spectroscopic expertise.

The candidate should have 4–8 years of relevant experience, with skills in HPLC/UPLC, GC, UV, FTIR, dissolution and particle size analysis, and a solid grasp of ICH and cGMP requirements.

Qualifications

• M.Pharm or MSc in a relevant field with hands-on analytical development experience.
• Experience with method validation, transfer and troubleshooting in pharma.
• Strong knowledge of ICH guidelines and cGMP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytical method development, validation, transfer and troubleshooting.

J ob Description

The Analytical Scientist will be responsible for analytical method development, validation, transfer, and troubleshooting for a wide range of pharmaceutical dosage forms, including injectables, liposomal formulations, microspheres, inhalation products, topical formulations, and conventional oral dosage forms. The role requires hands‑on expertise in chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques (HPLC/UPLC, GC, UV, FTIR, dissolution, and particle size analysis), characterization of complex drug delivery systems, stability studies, and regulatory documentation. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of ICH guidelines, cGMP requirements, and analytical challenges associated with sterile and non‑oral dosage forms, while collaborating closely with formulation, quality, and regulatory teams to support product development and lifecycle management.
