Job summary

NTT DATA in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN) seeks an ERP Senior Specialist with 8+ years in ERP application testing, preferably Oracle EBS applications. You will analyze requirements, design and execute tests, validate backend data with SQL, and collaborate with BAs and developers to ensure high quality releases.

You will mentor testers and contribute to QA process improvements while supporting planning and reporting across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Oracle EBS testing across multiple modules.
• Experience testing Oracle OM, PO, INV, AP, AR, GL, WSH.
• Hands‑on SQL for data validation and backend checks.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression and end‑to‑end testing.
• Proficiency with defect tracking tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, ALM).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to design comprehensive test scenarios and cases.

Senior Test Engineer (ERP) / Senior Oracle Apps Tester – Minimum Experience: 8+ years of experience in ERP application testing, preferably Oracle EBS/Oracle Applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements, functional specifications, and technical design documents.
• Design, develop, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Perform Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Validate end-to‑end business processes across Oracle EBS modules and integrated applications.
• Perform backend data validation using SQL queries.
• Defect logging, tracking, retesting, and closure using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA recommendations.
• Support test planning, estimation, execution reporting, and status communication.
• Ensure quality standards and testing best practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor testers and contribute to process improvements.

Mandatory Skills (Must Have)

• Strong experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Testing.
• Experience testing one or more Oracle modules: Order Management (OM), Purchasing (PO), Inventory (INV), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Shipping (WSH).
• Strong knowledge of ERP business processes and workflows.
• Hands‑on experience writing and executing SQL queries for data validation.
• Experience in Functional, Integration, Regression, and End‑to‑End testing.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or ALM.
• Ability to analyse requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable

• Oracle Fusion Applications testing experience.
• Automation testing experience using Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.
• API testing experience using Postman, SOAP UI, or REST APIs.
• Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Salesforce and Oracle integration testing.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle database concepts.
