Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. in Bangalore seeks an experienced ESB Support Engineer to provide operational support, administration, monitoring and maintenance of enterprise integration services on Red Hat OpenShift.

You will handle 100+ ESB integrations, troubleshoot production issues, manage upgrades, and ensure high availability and performance of integration services. The ideal candidate has strong ESB architectures expertise, OpenShift administration, and Java-based integrations with experience in EDI

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for ESB integrations.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents impacting ESB services.
• Perform RCA and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of integration services.
• Support service restoration during outages and incidents.
• Maintain 100+ enterprise integration interfaces across apps.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, routing, and message transformations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution.
• Monitor OpenShift workloads and perform platform upgrades/patching.
• Support MQ/AMQ messaging and middleware components.
• Ensure compliant operational practices and runbooks.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ESB Support Engineer to provide operational support, administration, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise integration services running on Red Hat OpenShift. The role involves supporting over 100+ ESB integrations, troubleshooting production issues, managing platform upgrades, and ensuring high availability and performance of integration services. Key Responsibilities

ESB Production Support

• Provide L2/L3 support for enterprise service bus integrations in production environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents impacting ESB services and integrations.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
• Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of enterprise integration services.
• Support service restoration activities during critical outages and production incidents.

Integration Support

• Support and maintain 100+ enterprise integration interfaces across business applications. [ESB | Excel]
• Troubleshoot integration failures, message processing issues, and connectivity problems.
• Support Java-based integration services and middleware components. [ESB | Excel]
• Analyze and resolve issues related to message transformations and routing.
• Coordinate with application, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution.

OpenShift Platform Administration

• Support and maintain ESB workloads running on Red Hat OpenShift platforms. [ESB | Excel]
• Monitor cluster health, resource utilization, and application performance.
• Support OpenShift platform upgrades, patching activities, and deployments.
• Participate in biannual OpenShift upgrade planning, testing, and execution. [ESB | Excel]
• Ensure platform compliance with operational and security standards.

Middleware & Messaging Support

• Support Enterprise Service Bus architecture and middleware components. [ESB | Excel]
• Troubleshoot MQ/AMQ messaging issues and message delivery failures. [ESB | Excel]
• Monitor message queues and integration workflows.
• Support inter-application communication and transaction processing.

EDI Support

• Support Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve X12 transaction processing issues. [ESB | Excel]
• Coordinate with business and trading partners to resolve EDI transmission problems.
• Ensure successful processing of inbound and outbound EDI transactions.

DevOps & Operations

• Support deployment and release activities across environments.
• Automate operational tasks where applicable.
• Maintain operational documentation, support procedures, and runbooks.
• Participate in change management and deployment activities.
• Support on-call rotations and production support requirements.
