Job summary

Celeros Flow Technology seeks an Engineering Systems Analyst to administer CAD, PDM, and PLM platforms across the product lifecycle and to support engineering data governance.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Product Development, Project Management, Manufacturing, Quality, and IT teams to enable data interoperability, system integrations, and automation initiatives that improve engineering processes and information governance.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience supporting engineering applications in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with CAD and PDM solutions in a global enterprise environment.

1.0 Job Summary

The Engineering Systems Analyst is responsible for the administration, support, enhancement, integration, and continuous improvement of engineering systems across the product lifecycle.

Working within the Global IT Applications team, this role will support CAD, PDM, and future PLM capabilities, ensuring engineering information is secure, accessible, integrated, and governed consistently across the business.

The successful candidate will work closely with Engineering, Product Development, Project Management, Manufacturing, Quality, and IT teams to support engineering processes, data management, system integrations, and digital transformation initiatives. The role combines functional knowledge of engineering business processes with technical capability in system administration, integrations, reporting, and automation.

2.0 Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Support and administer engineering applications, including CAD, PDM, and PLM platforms.
• Configure and maintain engineering system functionality, workflows, security, metadata, and user access.
• Provide first and second level support for engineering system incidents, requests, and problem resolution.
• Support software upgrades, patches, deployments, and system maintenance activities.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimisation and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and user guidance materials.
• Support engineering data governance, document control, and product data management processes.
• Maintain engineering metadata, classifications, lifecycle states, revision controls, and product structures.
• Support engineering change processes and release management procedures.
• Assist with engineering data migration, validation, cleansing, and transformation activities.
• Promote consistency, accuracy, and quality of engineering information across systems.

CAD, PDM & PLM Process Support

• Work with Engineering teams to understand and improve product development and engineering business processes.
• Support business processes spanning:
• CAD Design
• Product Data Management (PDM)
• Configuration Management
• Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
• Document Control
• Bill of Material (BOM) Management
• Product Release Processes
• Support future PLM initiatives and contribute to engineering systems roadmap activities.

Integration & Automation

• Support integrations between engineering systems and enterprise applications, including ERP, document management system, and collaboration platforms.
• Develop and maintain simple automation solutions, scripts, reports, and utilities.
• Support API-based integrations, data exchange processes, and workflow automation initiatives.
• Assist with technical troubleshooting across integrated business processes.

Project Delivery & Continuous Improvement

• Participate in engineering systems projects and enhancement initiatives.
• Support requirements gathering, testing, deployment, training, and post-implementation activities.
• Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Contribute to initiatives supporting engineering digitalization and the development of an integrated engineering information landscape.
