Job summary

IBS Software in Kochi/Trivandrum is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager (L2) with 18–20 years of software delivery leadership. The role demands driving large cross-functional delivery programs, maintaining budgets, and ensuring high-quality outcomes for enterprise travel technology solutions.

Ideal candidates have deep SDLC knowledge, strong leadership and communication skills, and a track record of delivering under pressure.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of overall experience with a proven track record in software development.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) with experience leading teams in Agile culture and Clean Code.

Responsibilities

• Owns P&L of the portfolio.
• Establish program controls and proactively monitor outcomes.
• Manage project budgets to ensure delivery within constraints.
• Identify and resolve issues to meet timelines and revenues.
• Lead customer leadership meetings and maintain relationships.
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and specifications.

Job Description – Delivery Executive

Purpose of the Job

• 1. Handling service delivery of a portfolio of projects responsible for on-time delivery, quality & meeting customer commitments
• 2. A leadership role with extensive software delivery experience and proven ability to manage cross functional teams
• 3. Establish program controls in the portfolio and proactively monitor, intervene for positive outcomes
• 4. Manage project budgets and ensuring projects are delivered within budget constraints.
• 5. Proactively identify, resolve or escape issues that may impede the team's ability to deliver solutions(s) against committed timelines and revenues.
• 6. Lead Customer leadership meetings on behalf of IBS, Build & maintain customer relationships

Candidate Profile

• 3. Results-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
• 4. Work experience in Travel Industry will be an advantage
• 5. Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• 6. Exceptional in leadership and empathy skills.
• 7. Ability to drive change and initiatives and succeed under uncertainty
• 8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
