Job summary

Nestdigital is seeking a Windows Platform & Packaging Engineer in Kerala to drive migration and deployment of enterprise apps from Linux to Windows. You will design, develop, and maintain Windows installation packages, deployment processes, and automation scripts using InstallShield and PowerShell, collaborating with DevOps, QA, and Product teams.

• Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting (mandatory).
• Experience automating installation, deployment, validation, and maintenance activities.
• Familiarity with Batch scripting and deployment automation tools.

Application Deployment

• Experience packaging and deploying Java and .NET applications.
• Knowledge of native DLL management, third‑party dependencies, and prerequisite handling.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for installation and deployment issues.

DevOps & Release Engineering

• Experience with Git, Azure Repos, or similar source control systems.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent CI/CD platforms.
• Understanding of build automation and release engineering practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Linux-to‑Windows migration projects.
