Job summary

Landis+Gyr in Dadri, Uttar Pradesh, India, seeks an experienced .NET software engineer to join a global team. You will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and microservices across Windows and Linux.

You will work with AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD in a fast-paced Scrum/Kanban environment, focusing on robust APIs, databases, and cloud-native delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, and microservices.
• Experience across Windows and Linux environments and related distros.
• Good understanding of OOP and API-driven architectures.
• Experience with databases like PostgreSQL or Oracle; NoSQL is a plus.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container tooling (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI) and deployment tools (Helm, ArgoCD).
• Experience in Scrum/Kanban and writing unit tests.

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong hands-on experience in .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, and microservices.
• Strong development experience in C# and ASP.NET.
  • .NET Core is must.
  • .NET 8 is must.
• Development experience across multiple platforms, including Windows and Linux environments.
  • Experience with Linux distributions such as Red Hat, CentOS, or Ubuntu is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Good experience with APIs, web services, and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL; experience with Oracle or other relational databases is also valuable.
  • NoSQL experience is a plus.
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms / message buses.
• Experience working with API gateways is a plus.
• Experience with popular web application frameworks.
• Experience in implementing automated testing frameworks and writing unit tests.
• Responsible and independent team member for coding and unit testing of .NET-related development.
• Strong cloud development experience with one or more of the major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • GCP experience is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and deployment tools such as:
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • Helm
  • GitLab / GitLab CI
  • ArgoCD
• Experience working in a Scrum or Kanban environment.
• Responsible for programming and delivering high-quality software applications.
• Responsible for quality and completeness of work, including:

• Ensure regular maintenance of application servers and databases.
