• B.E./B.Tech/ M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in shop floor coordination and mechanical integration.
• Exposure to underwater systems (AUV/ROV) preferred.
• Strong documentation, SOPs and test procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and execute shop floor activities to meet project schedules.
• Coordinate assembly and integration of underwater mechanical systems with other teams.
• Diagnose system-level issues during integration and testing; perform root-cause analysis.
• Plan harbour trials, commissioning activities and sea trials.
• Prepare assembly procedures, SOPs, integration plans and test reports; maintain documentation.
• Interface with vendors and customers to resolve issues and ensure project execution.

• Preferred: Robotics, Mechatronics, Marine Engineering

Experience:

Purpose of Role:

To coordinate shop floor assembly, integration, testing, commissioning and deployment activities of AUV, ROV and other underwater systems while ensuring schedule adherence, quality compliance and successful sea-trial execution.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Plan, monitor and execute shop floor activities to meet project schedules.
• Coordinate resources, materials and manpower for timely delivery.
• Track progress and resolve execution bottlenecks.

Mechanical Integration

• Lead assembly and integration of underwater mechanical systems and subsystems.
• Coordinate integration activities with electrical, electronics and software teams.
• Support acceptance testing and qualification activities.

Testing & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose system-level issues during integration and testing.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support environmental, operational and qualification testing.

Trial Planning & Execution

• Plan and coordinate harbour trials, commissioning activities and sea trials.
• Support deployment, recovery and validation of underwater systems.

Technical Documentation

• Prepare assembly procedures, SOPs, integration plans, test procedures and reports.

Vendor & Customer Coordination
