Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior /Lead SharePoint Administrator to own and enhance our SharePoint and Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms. You will lead administration, governance, migrations, and automation to enable secure, scalable, and user‑friendly collaboration across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and govern SharePoint Online (and support SharePoint 2016/2019 as needed) – sites, permissions, security, taxonomy, storage, and standards/SOPs.
- Enable and support Microsoft 365 collaboration tools (SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Stream, Viva, Microsoft Search) and integrations with Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Lead migrations from SharePoint On‑Prem and shared drives/file shares to SharePoint Online/OneDrive using Sharegate, including assessment, execution, monitoring, and post‑migration validation.
- Provide L2/L3 support via ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) – troubleshoot incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and close tickets within SLAs.
- Use PowerShell to automate administration, standardize configurations, and improve performance and reliability across environments.
Must‑Have Skills (Top 5)
- SharePoint Administration & Governance: 6‑9 years administering SharePoint environments, strong hands‑on experience in SharePoint Online and good understanding of SharePoint 2016/2019; deep knowledge of security, permissions, governance, taxonomy/metadata, and storage management.
- PowerShell Automation: Proven experience using PowerShell for SharePoint Online and OneDrive administration and bulk operations.
- Migrations with Sharegate: Hands‑on experience planning and executing SharePoint, OneDrive, and shared drive/file share migrations using Sharegate (assessment, execution, error handling, validation).
- Microsoft 365 & Entra ID: Strong experience with Microsoft 365 collaboration tools and experience with Microsoft Entra ID for identity and access management.
- ITSM & L2/L3 Operations: Experience with IT ticketing and agile toolsets (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence or similar) and strong troubleshooting and root‑cause skills.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience with 6‑9 years of work experience.
- Certifications: Microsoft certifications related to SharePoint or Microsoft 365 administration are preferred.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders in a global environment.
