WSP India is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our Roads & Highways team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on the technical design and delivery of roads and highways for large-scale infrastructure and land development projects across the UAE region.
The candidate will lead detailed designs, coordinate multiple disciplines, prepare calculations and reports, and interact with clients and Abu Dhabi authorities. Strong communication and mentoring skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
- 7+ years of professional experience in roads and highways design.
- Proven experience delivering infrastructure and land development projects in the UAE region.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MX, OpenRoads or similar design software.
Responsibilities
- Lead the detailed design of roads and highways infrastructure, including layouts, alignments, profiles and construction details.
- Coordinate with utilities, drainage, traffic, structures, lighting, landscaping and other disciplines.
- Produce and review design calculations, drawings and technical reports; support project milestones and deliverables.
- Engage with Clients and Abu Dhabi authorities; manage reviews and approvals as required.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and graduates.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our Roads & Highways team in Bengaluru. This role focuses on the technical design and delivery of roads and highways packages for large-scale infrastructure and land development projects across the Emirate.
- Prepare and lead the detailed design of roads and highways infrastructure, including local roads, arterials, junctions, interchanges, and access roads.
- Develop design layouts, alignments, profiles, cross-sections, and construction details in accordance with UAE authority standards.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant local manuals, specifications, and international best practice.
- Coordinate with internal and external disciplines including utilities, drainage, traffic, structures, street lighting, landscaping, and public realm teams.
- Identify and resolve design clashes and interface issues to ensure fully coordinated and buildable design outputs.
- Support design integration across infrastructure and land development packages.
- Produce and review design calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
- Support project managers in achieving programme milestones, quality objectives, and deliverable schedules.
- Assist with authority submissions and respond to review comments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in technical meetings, workshops, and design reviews with Clients and Abu Dhabi authorities.
- Support coordination and approvals processes in line with authority requirements.
- Provide technical input and advice during project discussions and decision-making.
- Ensure technical quality and compliance of all deliverables in line with internal QA/QC procedures.
Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and graduates within the Roads & Highways team.
