Job summary

HypTechie in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Engineer for Product Security to own security architecture across our platform and drive secure design, code, and infrastructure reviews. You will lead vulnerability assessments and build tooling to mitigate risks, while shaping the security roadmap with engineering teams.

You will collaborate with product and infrastructure groups on cloud security, governance and audits, promoting strong security practices and contributing to a culture of secure

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software programming experience with open source technologies.
• 3+ years building security controls/systems.
• Ability to influence security among team members.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
• Strong secure coding practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own product and application security architecture across our platform.

• Collaborate with Infra team on cloud security and ci/cd hardening.
• Assist compliance team in creating security policies and standards and help them work through security audits (internal and external).
