Job Summary

The Senior Engineer – Product Development is responsible for leading new product development projects from concept to production, ensuring successful project execution, design validation, and continuous product improvement. The role involves coordinating cross‑functional activities, conducting design reviews and testing, and driving Value Analysis & Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives to enhance product performance, quality, and cost effectiveness.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage new product development projects to ensure timely and successful execution.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to support project planning, development, and implementation activities.
• Conduct design reviews to ensure product feasibility, functionality, manufacturability, and quality.
• Plan, monitor, and support product testing and validation activities.
• Evaluate product performance and recommend design improvements where necessary.
• Drive Value Analysis & Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives to optimize product cost, quality, and performance.
• Support engineering change management and implementation of product modifications.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, technical reports, and development records.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Tool Room, and other stakeholders during product development and launch phases.
• Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and applicable engineering practices.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to product development and project execution.

Mandatory Requirements
