Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking a hands-on Analytics professional with 3-5 years of experience to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions, turning business questions into actionable insights. You will work with stakeholders across requirements gathering, data preparation, advanced analytics, and dashboard delivery.

You will build Power BI dashboards, use Databricks and Microsoft Fabric for data pipelines, and enable self-service analytics through training and lightweight apps.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on analytics experience delivering end-to-end analytics solutions.
• Strong Power BI development, data modeling, DAX, and performance optimization.
• Proficient in SQL and Python for data engineering and ML workflows.
• Experience with Databricks, Fabric, and building ETL/ELT pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business users to gather requirements and translate them into Power BI dashboards and insights.
• Design, build, and optimize Power BI reports and semantic models, including DAX, performance tuning, and security.
• Prepare, transform, and curate data using Microsoft Fabric and Databricks, implementing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Build and support Power Apps to enable simple workflows, data capture, and operational use cases.
• Perform exploratory data analysis, advanced analytics, and ML tasks such as trend analysis and predictive modeling.
• Support deployment, user enablement, and self‑service analytics through training and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business users to gather requirements and translate them into impactful Power BI dashboards and insights.
• Design, build, and optimize Power BI reports and semantic models, including DAX, performance tuning, and security.
• Prepare, transform, and curate data using Microsoft Fabric and Databricks, implementing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Build and support Power Apps (standalone or embedded with Power BI) to enable simple workflows, data capture, and operational use cases.
• Perform exploratory data analysis, advanced analytics, and machine learning tasks such as trend analysis, segmentation, and predictive modeling.
• Support deployment, user enablement, and self‑service analytics through training and documentation.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Power BI development, including data modeling, DAX, and performance optimization.
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks for data transformation, advanced analytics, and ML-ready data preparation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Fabric and modern analytics architectures.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for data engineering, analysis, and machine learning workflows.
• Ability to work end‑to‑end from requirements gathering to deployment and support.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the insurance industry or other regulated environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications in Power BI, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric are a plus.
