We seek an experienced professional to lead MEP design interfaces and ensure project delivery within scope and budget. The role demands coordination with global teams, strong design skills in Public Health Engineering and Fire

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architecture.
• 5–8 years of experience in related fields.
• Commitment to delivering SYSTRA services on time and within budget.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and meet deadlines.
• Flexible and willing to learn new technologies.
• Able to coordinate with other services.

Responsibilities

• Understand the project, client requirements, schedule and budgets.
• Prepare design basis report.
• Prepare detailed design for Public Health Engineering & Fire Fighting Systems.
• Prepare basic drawings and specifications per approved scheme.
• Design and draw plumbing including internal drainage.
• Prepare single line diagram of drainage schemes.
• Design, drawing and coordination of internal & external hydrant systems as per codes.
• Prepare BOQ, cost estimation and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with global multi-disciplinary teams as the focal point for MEP design interfaces.
• Ensure MEP deliverables adhere to SYSTRA policies, quality management systems, safety practices, ISO certifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for design coordination activities.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during design and construction.

CTR – Regional Technical Centre of Systra India takes care of the international production of major projects at Systra Group level. CTR team has expertise in design of High-Speed Rail, Metro, Conventional Rail, Bridges, Highways, Depots, Stations and Transport Planning. Starting from Feasibility/Concept stage to Detailed Design to IFC/Shop drawings, the disciplines involved have experience of designing in accordance with various international codes and delivered projects across the world.

CTR team has successfully delivered some major projects in UK, UAE, Tanzania, KSA, Australia, Canada and Denmark. One of the major achievements of India CTR team has been the design of HS2 project in UK. We played an instrumental role in delivering 3 major Sublots on HS2 with our teams proactively engaging with Front Office in UK and delivering beyond client expectations. This resulted in India team receiving many accolades from the contractor BBV and client HS2.

CTR team in India is proficient in working on multi-disciplinary projects integrating Design, BIM and Drawing production in a seamless workflow incorporating different software. The technical and management teams within CTR get an opportunity to work and interact with other CTR teams within Systra Group from Paris, Poland, Dubai, Philippines and Brazil.

Missions/Main Duties

• Understanding the project, Client requirements, Schedule and Budgets.
• Prepare design basis report
• Prepare detail design for Public Health Engineering & Fire Fighting Systems
• Prepare basic drawing and specifications as per approved scheme.
• Designing and drawing of plumbing including internal drainage.
• Preparing single line diagram of the drainage schemes.
• Design, drawing and coordination of internal & external hydrant systems as per codes.
• Prepare BOQ, Cost estimation and Technical Specifications
• Collaborate with global multi-disciplinary teams, acting as the focal point for MEP design interfaces.
• Ensure MEP deliverables adhere to SYSTRA policies, quality management systems, safety practices, design and project processes and ISO certifications
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for all design coordination activities.
• Identify and resolve technical issues or design conflicts that arise during the design and construction phases.
• Through the lifecycle of a design project, you will liaise with specialist engineering teams to ensure that the design work is delivered in accordance with the engineering best practice and in compliance with mandated standards.
