Job summary

Ramboll in India invites you to join as Senior Engineer Pavement Design - Aviation to drive airfield infrastructure projects. You will work with an international, collaborative Aviation team in India, delivering pavement geometry, drainage and supporting facilities with strict regulatory compliance.

You should have a Civil Engineering degree (B.Tech/M.Tech) with specialization in Transportation/Pavement Engineering, and familiarity with pavement analysis tools, CAD and design software.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of pavement analysis tools and geotechnical concepts.
• Proficiency in CAD and civil design software.
• Experience with pavement design for airfields and airports.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, manage and monitor aviation infrastructure activities.
• Provide technical leadership for airside and landside developments.
• Develop and review airfield layouts and drainage systems per ICAO/FAA/EASA/IATA.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations.
• Establish reporting systems to track project progress.

As our new Senior Engineer Pavements Desing, you will work with the team to deliver work in close collaboration with Ramboll colleagues based across the business. You will be part ofthe Aviation teamin India. You will work as part of a lively team, filled with people who are really excited about creating the solutions for the future. Our team is vibrant, innovative, international, and supportive. You will collaborate with your colleagues to play a critical role in defining and delivering projects.Based on a strong future pipeline of work we are now looking to expand the team. The role requires an inquisitive mind, capable of developing innovative and sustainable outcomes to support our clients.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

Planning, design, managing andmonitoringall activities related to aviation infrastructure.

Provide technical leadership for airside and landside infrastructure, including runways, taxiways, aprons,aircraftstands, terminal developments, ground support facilities, airport access roads, utility networks, and supporting infrastructure systems.

Develop and review airfield geometric layouts, airside pavements,gradingand drainage systems, ensuring compliance with ICAO, FAA, EASA, IATA, and local aviation authority regulations.

Client and stakeholder interactions,relationshipsand management.

Prepare and develop a system wherein all activities aremonitoredand reported on a regular basis to ensure project deadlines.

Specialization in Transportation / Pavement Engineering preferred

Good analytical skills and problem-solving techniques
