Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer to lead packaging programs for new products, drive robust, cost-effective solutions, and mentor junior engineers.

You will define packaging strategies, perform advanced testing, engage suppliers, and push for sustainability and continuous improvement across global initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or related field. In lieu of a degree, previous work experience may be considered.
• 6-10 years of relevant packaging engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of global packaging material and design standards
• Strong understanding of packaging and transportation test procedures.
• Demonstrated experience leading packaging projects end-to-end.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and technical leadership skills.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with global suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
