Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Cross Technology Engineer (L2) focused on asset management. The role involves proactive monitoring, investigation and resolution of asset-related incidents to keep IT infrastructure operational, with a strong emphasis on SLA adherence and stakeholder communication.

The position requires a Bachelors in a related field and 4+ years in asset management, along with proficiency in asset management tools and regulatory knowledge. On-site work in Mumbai is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in asset management.
• Strong understanding of asset management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in using asset management tools to track, manage, and optimize asset inventory.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze asset-related data and trends.
• Effective communication, with ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to asset management.
• Strong business acumen and ability to align asset management strategies with business goals.
• Experience with contract negotiation and vendor management is a plus.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-line asset management support and ensure operational IT infrastructure is managed effectively.
• Review client requests or tickets and apply technical/process knowledge to resolve them within SLA.
• Proactively monitor assets, identify issues, and investigate root causes to prevent incidents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Cloud, Security, Networking, and Applications to manage asset lifecycle.

The Managed Services Cross Technology Engineer (L2) is a developing engineering role, responsible for providing a managed service to clients to ensure that their IT infrastructure and systems remain operational.

Through the proactive monitoring, identifying, investigating, and resolving of technical incidents and problems, the Managed Services Cross Technology Engineer (L2) is able to restore service to clients.

The primary objective of this role is to proactively review client requests or tickets and apply technical/process knowledge to resolve them without breaching service level agreement (SLA).

The Managed Services Cross Technology Engineer (L2) focuses on second-line support for incidents and requests with a medium level of complexity and focusses across two or more technology domains - Cloud, Security, Networking, Applications and or Collaboration etc.

This role may also contribute to support on project work as and when required.
