Emerson Measurement Systems and Solutions CoE Pune Hub is seeking engineers with instrumentation/electronics background to support custody transfer and metering projects. You will work on flow computers, metering SKID software, and related PLC/SCADA/HMI systems, performing tests, calculations, and reporting.

The role requires hands-on experience with S600+/OMNI/DeltaV based systems, field signals, and adherence to metering standards. Hybrid work setup and broad opportunities are offered.

Formación

• Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in instrumentation/electronics engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with flow metering and related systems.
• Experience with industry standards for metering and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with flow metering systems and skid software packages.
• Verify calculations per metering standards (AGA-8, AGA-7, API).
• Test flow skid packages and serial communications (Modbus TCP/IP/RTU/ASCII).
• Generate reports and present findings to project/engineering managers.
• Suggest improvements to test setups and ensure knowledge sharing within the team.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Minimum Qualification – Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering
• Proficient in the spoken and written English language
• Proficient with MS Office Tools (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, MS Project)
• Hands on Experience on Liquid or GAS, Fiscal or Custody Transfer Metering.
• Familiar with design work processes and has completed design packages
• Being able to optimally communicate findings through reports and presentations.
• Good Hand’s on Experience on Flow computers and Flow Metering Skid SW packages
• Intermediate hands-on Experience on ABB, AB, Siemens, Schneider PLC / SCADA, HMI, Batch
• Controllers / Truck or Ship Loading / Unloading Controllers, OPC Communication
• Hands on Experience of S600+, OMNI (Flow Computer) and Emerson DeltaV based Metering Flow
• Able to generate Reports in customer required formats and Units of measurement.
• Good understanding of Level 3 network, Cyber Security, Backup and Restore, Patch Management
• Test Flow Skid Packages, serial communications - on Modbus TCP/IP or Modbus RTU / ASCII
• Verify Calculations as per Metering (AGA-8, AGA-7, or API) Measurement standards preferred
• Simulate Field Signals, Fault Finding and suggest remedies in case of technical solutions.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Minimum Qualification – Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or equivalent experience Instrumentation/ Electronics
• Engineering with minimum 6 plus confirmed experience preferably with oil and gas background.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Looking for experience candidate of S600+, OMNI and Emerson DeltaV based Metering Flow Computer’s preferred, and Truck loading Batch Controllers or PLC, experience in any HMI(Wonderware/iFix/Cimplicity/Movicon).
• Verify Calculations as per Metering (AGA-8, AGA-7, or API) Measurement standards preferred.
• Excellent hands on Experience on PLC/SCADA, HMI, Batch Controllers / Truck or Ship Loading/Unloading Controllers.
• Experience on Liquid or GAS, Fiscal or Custody Transfer Metering Knowledge, Provers and Master Meters.
• Able to generate Informative data and complete periodic review with Project Manager / Engineering Manager.
• Provide idea/Suggestion to improve Test setup for improving quality and save the efforts during FAT.
• Ensure Knowledge is shared within the Team.
