Zusammenfassung

WSP in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Engineering Geologist to develop and maintain 3D geological models and support tailings dams and related infrastructure.

You will integrate borehole logs, CPT data, laboratory and geophysical datasets, interpret discontinuities, and contribute to numerical modelling studies, with clear communication to project teams.

Strong documentation skills and the ability to produce high-quality plans, sections, and reports are essential.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain three-dimensional engineering geological and ground models using Leapfrog Works and/or Leapfrog Geo.
• Provide engineering geology support for tailings dams and associated infrastructure, including foundations, embankments, abutments, borrow areas and subsurface conditions.
• Create, validate and maintain geological and geotechnical databases in OpenGround Cloud.
• Integrate borehole logs, CPT/CPTu results, laboratory data, monitoring information and geophysical datasets into geological models.
• Undertake structural interpretation of discontinuities, faults, shear zones, bedding, foliation and other geological features relevant to engineering performance.
• Develop geological domains and material models for use in seepage, stability, stress-deformation and other numerical modelling studies.
• Communicate geological uncertainty, data limitations and model assumptions clearly to multidisciplinary project teams.
• Prepare high-quality geological plans, sections, model outputs, technical reports and interpretation memoranda.
