Job summary

ReNew is seeking a Senior Engineer - e-BOP to join at the Gadhsisa site in Gujarat. The role ensures round-the-clock availability of substation assets and transmission lines, with close coordination to LDC for forecasting and scheduling.

The position requires 5–8 years of experience in electrical engineering, handling PM/BM of eBoP assets, SAP work orders, and compliance with safety norms. Training and audits are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Electrical engineering.
• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in e-BOP/substation assets.
• Location: Gujarat – site-based role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure 24/7 availability of substation and transmission line assets at site.
• Coordinate forecasting and scheduling with LDC.
• Perform PM/BM of eBoP assets and maintain documentation as per standards.
• Plan and execute all eBoP PTWs and LCPs with safety compliance.
• Track contract staff and manage spares and consumables.
• Update SAP work orders and minimize shutdown hours.
• Troubleshoot HV/EHV assets and protect relay systems.
• Participate in audits and ensure good HSE practices at site.
• Train employees on various subjects; test eBoP assets (CB, CT, PT, Isolator, arrester, SCADA).

Designation: Senior Engineer - e-BOP

Qualification: Diploma OR BE/B.Tech - Electrical

Experience: 5 to 8 years

Location: Gadhsisa Site, Gujarat

Role & Responsibilities

• Ensure round the clock availability of substation and transmission line at site.
• Ensuring proper communication with LDC regarding forecasting and scheduling.
• Undertake PM, BM of eBoP assets and maintain necessary documentation as per the standards.
• Planning and executing all eBoP PTWs and LCPs of the site and adhering to safety rules and regulations.
• Keeping track of all contractual employee and maintaining spares and consumables.
• Updating workorders in SAP and minimizing shutdown hours.
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving HV, EHV and substation asset issues.
• Knowledge of various standards i.e. ISO etc.
• Participating in audits for betterment of system.
• Ensure good HSE practices at site.
• Training the employees on various subjects.Testing of all eBoP assets (i.e. circuit breaker, Current Transformer, Potential Transformer, Isolator, Lightning arrester, wave trap, CVT, SCADA, Protection relays and transformers etc.)
