AECOM in India is seeking a Senior Engineer-Dry Utility (Infrastructure) to join our Energy team. The role focuses on delivering design and engineering support for dry utility projects across global offices, with emphasis on high-quality deliverables and technical growth.

The successful candidate will perform portions of assignments, gather data, run calculations, propose solutions, review results, and guide entry-level engineers while adhering to budgets and schedules in a collaborative,

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of experience, preferably with outside-India projects in ME/UK/USA/Canada ANZ region.
• Experience in Electrical/Infrastructure design across EHV, HV, MV, LV, Street Lighting, Telecom, ELV, ICT networks and associated systems.
• Proven ability to produce and review design calculations and work with established software tools.

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Engineer-Dry Utility(Infrastructure) to join our Energy team in India. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to impactful Energy projects across global offices and continue developing their technical expertise in a supportive, high-performing team.

• Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
• Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
• Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
• Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignements.
• Identifies discrepancies in results.
• Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
• Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
• Independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following Qualifications:

• B. Tech/ Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 5-10 Years (Exposure to outside India projects preferably Middle East, UK, USA, Canada ANZ region)
• Preparation, Review and production of Electrical (EHV, HV, MV, LV), Street Lighting, Telecom, ELV, ICT Network, Pump station, Water Treatment Plant, EV charging Station, Substation, Power Transmission Distribution network
• Design Calculation: Street lighting, High Mast Area Lighting, Cable sizing Voltage drop, Earthing, Fault level, Corridor sizing
• Software: Dialux, AGI, Lighting Reality, Amtech, ETAP
