Rain Carbon Inc. is seeking a seasoned Control/Desk Engineer to work in a co-generation plant, handling DCS operations and shift-based boiler/turbo generator duties. The role emphasizes safe, reliable operations and hands-on management of cogeneration plant equipment.

Candidates should have 10–12 years in a Thermal Power Plant (50–100 MW) as a DCS/Control engineer, with B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and BOE. SAP and ISO/QMS knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with BOE possession.
• 10–12 years of experience in a Thermal Power Plant (50–100 MW) as DCS/Control engineer.
• Experience operating high-pressure boilers and cogeneration plant equipment.
• Knowledge of SAP, QMS/ISO procedures, and industrial safety practices.

Responsabilités

• Serve as Control Engineer/DCS Engineer in the cogeneration process.
• Operate boilers, turbo generator and auxiliaries in shifts.
• Ensure safe, reliable and uninterrupted plant operation to meet production targets.
• Rudimentary start-up, shutdown and emergency operations of the cogeneration plant.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to resolve operational issues.
• Train and guide personnel under supervision.
• Adhere to safety rules and plant procedures.
• Maintain ISO documentation and SOPs/work instructions.
• Hands-on work with high-pressure boiler systems (65 kg/cm2) and 485°C.
• Prepare notifications and issue work permits.
• Knowledge in SAP and QMS systems and industrial safety best practices.

Job Overview : To work in shifts as Control/Desk Engineer in Co-generation plant

Key Responsibilities Areas :

1. Responsible for the duties of Control Engineer/DCS Engineer in Cogen Process
2. Working in shifts for operation of Boilers, Turbo generator and its auxiliaries, Auxiliary boiler and other areas related to cogeneration plant.
3. Responsible for safe, reliable and uninterrupted operation of the plant to achieve targeted production.
4. Responsible for safe start up, shut down and emergency operations of the Co-gen plant.
5. Co-ordinate with all maintenance agencies to get all operational problems rectified.
6. Train and guide all the personnel working under his control to carry out their functions.
7. Follow all safety rules and procedures laid down in the plant.
8. Maintain ISO documentation.
9. Follow all relevant SOP’s /Work Instructions in the plant.
10. On hands experience in operating high-pressure boilers with pressure rating around 65 kg/cm2 and temperature of around 485 deg.C., Turbo generator, Boiler feed pumps, Circulating water pumps, Compressors, Seawater cooling tower and other auxiliaries related to thermal power plant.
11. Preparing Notifications and issuing Work permits etc,
12. Knowledge in SAP operating system.
13. Knowledge in QMS (ISO) system.
14. Knowledge in Industrial best safety practices.

Qualification : B. Tech/Diploma in Mechanical engineering, Possessing BOE
