Overview

Senior Engineer - Building Structures at AECOM. Enterprise Capabilities team in Bangalore / Gurgaon.

Responsibilities

• Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Works under general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.
• Experience in retail and hospitality medium to large projects.
• Experience in UK, UAE, US, Canada, ANZ (preferred).
• Experience in delivering projects in BIM and relevant discipline software.
• Receives instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features, and possible solutions.
• Knowledgeable in building design services, associated regulations and technical standards.
• Capable of working on own initiative and taking overall responsibility and accountability for assigned work.

Qualifications

• Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 5-8 years of experience in Civil Engineering, with Middle East/US/UK experience desirable but not essential.
• Good communication skills, and ability to work well independently.
• Ability to see the “bigger picture” and take a birds-eye view of projects.
• Confident, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
