Job summary

Egis Road Operation India in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Senior Bridge Design Engineer to lead the delivery of complex bridge and transportation structural design projects.

You will manage projects from concept through detailed design to construction and handover, oversee design checks, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance across all deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Bridge Design Engineer, covering all project phases from concept development through to project handover.
• Proven experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably within highways, roads, or rail sectors.

• Lead the delivery of bridge and transportation structural design projects.

• Undertake and oversee bridge and structural design and detailing in line with relevant standards.
• Carry out and review structural analysis and design calculations.
• Manage and undertake independent design checks, including Category checks.
• Plan, programme, and manage project delivery, resources, and budgets.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical support to junior engineers.
• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance across all deliverables.
