Job summary

Litmus7 is seeking an experienced Cloud/Disaster Recovery Engineer to design, implement, and maintain AWS-based DR solutions for mission-critical workloads. You will build IaC frameworks with Terraform, CloudFormation, and CDK, and develop automated failover workflows to meet RTO/RPO objectives.

• Experience with container platforms (ECS/EKS/Docker).
• Background in security best practices for AWS DR and automation.

• Conduct regular DR drills, simulations, and failover tests to validate recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure DR readiness across all environments.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years focused on AWS.
• Strong expertise with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, Route 53, CloudFormation, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, and Global Accelerator/CloudFront.
• Executing disaster recovery and business continuity plans in AWS environments.
• Strong scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to perform under pressure during critical incidents.
• Professional Experience with container platforms (ECS, EKS, Docker).
• Background in security best practices related to AWS DR and automation. Experience with large-scale enterprise DR programs.
