Litmus7 is seeking an experienced Cloud/DevOps engineer focused on AWS-based disaster recovery. The role requires building automated DR workflows, implementing IaC, and conducting regular DR drills to ensure business continuity. Strong scripting and security-focused practices are essential.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with applications, infrastructure, and security teams to evolve DR readiness across environments and document recovery architectures for resilience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud or infrastructure engineering experience, with at least 3 years on AWS.
• Proficient in scripting with Python or Bash and strong debugging skills.
• Experience executing disaster recovery and business continuity plans on AWS.
• Experience with container platforms such as ECS/EKS and Docker.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS-based disaster recovery solutions for mission-critical workloads.

• Develop automation frameworks and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, or similar.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years focused on AWS.
• Strong expertise with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, Route 53, CloudFormation, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, and Global Accelerator/CloudFront.
• Executing disaster recovery and business continuity plans in AWS environments.
• Strong scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to perform under pressure during critical incidents.
• Professional Experience with container platforms (ECS, EKS, Docker).
• Background in security best practices related to AWS DR and automation. Experience with large-scale enterprise DR programs.
