Responsibilities

• Handle procurement activities for direct materials and project requirements for the Power and Water Solutions Business.
• Drive commercial negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors on pricing, quality, delivery, payment terms, and contracts.
• Identify and implement cost optimization through strategic sourcing and alternate vendors.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Projects, Planning, Finance, and Global Procurement for project success.
• Prepare techno-commercial comparison statements and ensure timely PO release in SharePoint.
• Coordinate with Finance for LC, ABG, PBG, and related import documentation.
• Manage vendor onboarding, master data, supplier performance, and timely payments.
• Develop strong supplier relationships to ensure quality materials at competitive pricing.
• Monitor procurement spend and generate MIS reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and audit requirements.

In this Role, You Will Focus On:

• Handle procurement activities for direct materials and project requirements for the Power and Water Solutions Business, ensuring timely availability of materials and services.
• Drive commercial negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors covering pricing, quality, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contractual agreements.
• Identify and implement cost optimization initiatives through strategic sourcing, supplier development, rate contracts, and alternate vendor identification.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Projects, Planning, Finance, and Global Procurement teams to support business objectives and successful project execution.
• Prepare techno-commercial comparison statements, obtain approvals in line with procurement policies, and ensure timely release and documentation of purchase orders in SharePoint.
• Coordinate with Finance and Accounts teams for preparation and execution of commercial import documents such as LC, ABG, PBG, and related contractual documentation.
• Manage vendor onboarding, vendor master data, supplier performance, issue resolution, and coordination of timely vendor payments.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure continuous supply of quality materials at competitive pricing and within required timelines.
• Monitor procurement spend and generate MIS reports, including spend analysis, cost savings, and cost avoidance reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, commercial procedures, and audit requirements.

• B.Tech with 8+ years of experience in procurement and strategic sourcing, preferably within the Automation, Industrial, EPC, or Manufacturing industry. Experience in project procurement will be an added advantage
• Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools is preferred.
