Job summary

The candidate will be responsible for engine control system development and will be working with engine OEMs or aftermarket customers for development of engines or upgradation of existing solutions. The candidate will be involved right form working on technical solutions including system architecture, component sizing, harness design, supporting customer during engine / Genset calibration and testing using calibration tools. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing customers’ validation data as per Woodward’s application management process, conducting design review and application sign off with customer.Advanced Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves intricate technical challenges by analyzing multiple information sources and applying innovative solutions.Application Processes: Supports the commercial group in proposal creation, technical support of commercial offers, and customer presentations. Creates product specifications, software and application literature for Minor Scope Projects/Systems.Project Management: Leads small to medium sized engineering projects, coordinating resources and timelines to achieve project objectives.Technical Leadership: Guides the design and implementation of complex application systems, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.Key Skills:Technical Proficiency: Expertise in engine development cycle (large or small engines) with experience in either combustion development or engine control system, should be expert in using calibration tools like INCA or Toolkit. The candidate can possess experience in engine development either with Diesel or Gas as a fuel.Effective Communication: Proficient in conveying difficult or sensitive information and fostering consensus.Cross functional Collaboration: Skilled in working with multiple global teams and subject matter experts, internal and external, to build consensus and drive successful outcomes across multiple projects.Complex Problem Solving: Ability to solve sophisticated technical issues through analytical judgment.
