The Role

As a Senior AIOps Engineer, you will be a hands-on practitioner at the intersection of application development, platform engineering, and AI-driven operations, delivering intelligent, automated solutions that measurably improve client outcomes. You will own the end-to-end execution of AIOps, Application Development, and DevOps workstreams - designing and building modern applications, cloud-native services, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-powered operational workflows that drive reliability, efficiency, and velocity

This is a delivery-focused, client-facing role where you will work directly with client teams to implement solutions, translate requirements into working systems, and bring AI-accelerated practices to every stage of the development lifecycle. You will collaborate across engineering, operations, and consulting teams - contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, responsible AI adoption, and engineering excellence.

Job Responsibilities

• Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle


• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.


• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.


• Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications,standards, and programming.


• Designs, builds, and operationalizes AIOps platforms that automate event correlation, anomaly detection, and incident remediation across client environments.


• Develops and integrates AI/ML models into operational workflows - including predictive alerting, root-cause analysis, and capacity forecasting.


• Architects and implements RAG pipelines and Agentic AI workflows to augment operations team productivity and reduce MTTR.


• Follows the AI Development Lifecycle (AIDLC) - from problem framing, data readiness, and model selection through to integration, testing, deployment, and monitoring of AI-powered solutions.


• Actively uses AI-accelerated development tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot to improve coding velocity, test coverage, documentation quality, and solution design.


• Builds and maintains CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code templates to support automated, repeatable deployments across cloud and hybrid environments.


• Manages and optimizes containerized workloads on Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or on-prem), ensuring high availability and operational efficiency.


• Supports observability strategy - defining metrics, logs, and traces standards and integrating AI-driven insights into monitoring dashboards.


• Improves operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies, tooling, and engineering procedures.


• Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.


• Supports and develops software engineers by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities.
