Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced backend engineer to design, build, test, and operate enterprise AI platform capabilities in Bengaluru, India. You will develop reusable platform services, APIs, SDKs, and automation patterns, while integrating with LLM services and AI gateways to meet governance and security requirements.

The role emphasizes CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, automated testing, telemetry, and runbooks.

Qualifications

• University or College education in Computer Science, Engineering, Data/Analytics, Business/Technology, Risk/Governance, or related field; equivalent experience considered
• 5-8 years of experience in building backend services, APIs, automation, cloud-native applications, or platform services
• Hands-on experience with Python and modern software engineering practices
• Experience with Azure, Azure DevOps or GitHub Enterprise, CI/CD, containers, Infrastructure as Code, logging, monitoring, and secure development practices
• Exposure to LLM application patterns, RAG, prompt orchestration, vector search, model evaluation, and AI observability is preferred
• JavaScript/TypeScript or Java/.NET is an asset
• Strong collaboration, documentation, problem solving, and operational support skills

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and support reusable enterprise AI platform capabilities
