Job summary

Adani in Mundra, Gujarat, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing/Process Leader to oversee solar cell production, ensure targets for quality, yield, and cost, and drive improvements across the line.

The role requires 5–8 years in manufacturing, strong knowledge of SPC, RCA, FMEA, Lean Six Sigma, and ability to lead cross-functional teams while maintaining strict safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing/process operations, preferably Solar/High-Tech industries.
• Experience in process optimization, yield improvement, SPC, RCA, FMEA, Lean and Six Sigma.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee solar cell manufacturing processes to achieve targets for production, quality and yield.
• Monitor process parameters and take corrective actions to maintain stable operations.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance productivity, reduce losses, and optimize costs.
• Analyze process data, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for process enhancement.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering and Technology teams for seamless operations.
• Lead troubleshooting for process deviations, equipment performance, and product quality issues.
• Support new process implementation, technology upgrades and scale-up activities.
• Ensure compliance with EHS guidelines and promote a safe working culture.
• Mentor and develop team members for capability building and performance improvement.

• Experience in process optimization, yield improvement, SPC, RCA, FMEA, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong understanding of solar cell manufacturing processes, process control systems, quality management, and production excellence.
• Proven experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
• Knowledge of EHS standards, compliance requirements, and industrial safety practices.
