Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Developer with 6+ years of software development experience to design, develop, and deliver scalable software applications using modern web, backend, and database technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong full‑stack development experience, a product mindset, deep Python expertise, good Node.js exposure, technical leadership skills, and the ability to mentor junior developers.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.
- Build advanced frontend components using React.js.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python.
- Work with Node.js for backend services, APIs, and integration needs.
- Design, query, and optimize solutions using Oracle Database.
- Define application architecture, coding standards, and reusable development patterns.
- Lead API design and integration using REST/JSON services.
- Mentor and guide junior developers.
- Perform code reviews and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Troubleshoot complex application, performance, database, and integration issues.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to Agile planning, estimation, release, and deployment activities.
Required Skills
Frontend
- Advanced experience with React.js, functional components, hooks, and state management.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and UI performance optimization.
- Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Python for backend development, API development, scripting, or automation.
- Good working experience with Node.js for backend services and integrations.
- Strong understanding of REST API design, integration, error handling, and security.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, logging, and secure coding practices.
Database
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database.
- Strong SQL skills for querying, joins, data validation, and performance tuning.
- Understanding of database design, stored procedures, indexing, and optimization concepts.
- Ability to troubleshoot application and database integration issues.
Tools & Practices
- Code review and quality assurance practices.
- Application debugging, logging, and performance monitoring.
- Ability to guide development teams on coding standards and best practices.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Oracle APEX.
- Experience evaluating and guiding the responsible use of AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, or LLM‑based IDE extensions for code generation, review, refactoring, documentation, and testing.
- Experience modernizing or migrating from legacy platforms (including Oracle APEX or similar low‑code systems).
- Exposure to cloud platforms.
- Experience leading technical design discussions.
- Knowledge of enterprise application architecture.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6+ years of relevant software development experience.
- Prior experience mentoring developers or leading technical deliverables preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self‑organizing, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working independently.
- A mindset oriented toward progress, modernization, and continuous improvement.
