We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to design, engineer and maintain enterprise operating system platforms across Haleon's Cloud and Edge environments. This role is primarily focused on Linux platforms, with responsibility for supporting Windows Server platforms and related technologies where required.
Working within an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps delivery model, the successful candidate will leverage technologies such as Ansible and Terraform to develop scalable, secure, and consistent platform solutions. The role requires strong Linux engineering expertise, automation skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.
This is a platform engineering and consultancy role rather than a traditional operations position. The focus is on engineering, automation, and continuous improvement of server platforms, while providing technical guidance to application, cloud, and infrastructure teams.
