Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
• 8–15+ years in systems engineering, embedded systems, or product development.
• Strong Embedded C/C++ skills and firmware development for MCU-based systems.
• Experience in energy metering or electronic measurement is desirable.
• Knowledge of UART, SPI, RS-485, Ethernet, and PLC protocols.

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into system specifications and interfaces.
• Define system-level requirements and coordinate hardware, embedded firmware, communication, and measurement subsystems.
• Support Embedded C/C++ development and hardware-firmware integration.
• Integrate and validate MCUs, ADCs, analog circuits, firmware, and communication interfaces.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to drive system architecture, hardwarefirmware integration, and product validation for electronic measurement and metering products.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Embedded C/C++, microcontrollers, communication protocols, and system-level verification, with the ability to translate product requirements into reliable, high-performance technical solutions while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication, or a related discipline.
• 8 to 15+ years of experience in systems engineering, embedded systems, electronic product development, or system integration.
• Strong proficiency in Embedded C/C++ and firmware development for microcontroller-based systems.
• Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, microprocessors, analog/digital electronics, ADC-based measurement, and hardwaresoftware integration.
• Experience in energy metering, smart metering, power measurement, or electronic measurement products is highly desirable.
• Hands-on knowledge of processors such as ARM, MIPS, ColdFire, MSP430, dsPIC, and 8051.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, IC, RS-485, GPRS, Zigbee, Ethernet, and Power Line Communication (PLC).
• Experience in system requirements analysis, architecture design, interface definition, integration testing, verification, and validation.
• Knowledge of embedded debugging, unit testing, EMI/EMC, product reliability, and safety compliance.
• Familiarity with SDLC, MISRA coding standards, root-cause analysis, and engineering documentation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.

• Troubleshoot communication interfaces and validate protocol performance and interoperability.
• Support EMI/EMC testing, safety compliance, environmental validation, and reliability assessments.
• Maintain system architecture documents, interface specifications, requirements traceability, and technical reports.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, testing, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams throughout product development and New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Identify design risks and recommend solutions that balance performance, cost, quality, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Provide technical guidance and drive continuous improvement in system design, integration, and validation processes.
