We are looking for a Senior Embedded C++ Engineer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our automotive software team. The role involves developing reliable, high-quality embedded software for vehicle systems and working closely with architects, system engineers, testers, and other development teams.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in C++, embedded software design, debugging, testing, and automotive development processes.
Design, develop, integrate, and maintain embedded software in C++.
Analyze requirements and convert them into robust software solutions.
Debug and resolve complex software issues across multiple components.
Develop unit, integration, and component tests.
Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
Ensure compliance with coding standards and quality guidelines.
Investigate compiler, static-analysis, and integration issues.
Support software releases and continuous-improvement activities.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team best practices.
8 to 12 years of experience in embedded software development.
Strong programming skills in C and modern C++.
Good knowledge of object-oriented design and embedded systems.
Experience with state machines, asynchronous processing, timers, and callbacks.
Knowledge of AUTOSAR and automotive diagnostics.
Experience with unit testing and debugging tools.
Familiarity with Git and build systems such as Bazel or CMake.
Knowledge of coding standards such as AUTOSAR C++14 or MISRA.
Experience with static-analysis tools such as Coverity or equivalent.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
Independently own software features from analysis through delivery.
Contribute to architecture and design decisions.
Deliver maintainable, testable, and production-ready code.
Support and guide other engineers in the team.
