Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Design Engineer with over 10 years of experience in building services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end electrical system design, from concept to GFC drawings, ensuring alignment with industry standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Power Systems Design:

• Design and review of HV & LV systems
• Preparation of DB schedules, SLDs, and voltage drop calculations
• Design and review lighting systems using DIALux
• Ensure compliance with standards for lux levels and energy efficiency
• Design and review of fire alarm systems and emergency lighting plans

Communication Systems:

• Design and review of telephone, data, and communication networks

ELV Systems:

• Design and review of Extra Low Voltage systems, including security and access control

Documentation:

• Prepare BOQs and Take-Off Quantity sheets for all services
• Develop detailed design and tender documentation

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Strong knowledge of electrical design in building services projects
• Hands-on experience with DIALux and other electrical design software
• Excellent coordination skills with architects, structural consultants, and clients
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
• Ability to handle multiple project stages independently
