Job summary

Aeva is seeking a DSP Test Engineer to build automated regression testing for DSP features on production and simulation platforms. You will design test frameworks and stress tests for DSP algorithms across software and hardware interfaces.

Ideal candidates have a BS or MS in DSP, software or systems engineering, 3+ years of Python and automation testing experience, and knowledge of signal processing and embedded development. C/C++ experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree with an emphasis towards DSP, software or systems engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in Python development, shell scripting and developing automation test frameworks.
• Knowledge of working principles of signal processing, embedded software development and HW/SW interfaces.
• Willingness to learn, ability to communicate well and demonstrate healthy drive and energy to deliver a high quality product.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test frameworks for automated testing of DSP algorithms in software as well as digital platforms
• Understand DSP algorithms running on the system and design stress tests to validate the design and implementation
• Develop detailed test plans and regression test suites to make sure new and existing DSP features work as expected
• Participate in the team’s development processes, including: requirements and design documentation, test-plan generation and execution, peer design and code reviews, process feedback and improvements
