Job summary

WeyBee Solutions Pvt Ltd is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to treat engineering as structured problem-solving and own backend systems from design to production. You’ll model data, design APIs, optimize performance, and make architectural decisions that scale.

The core tech: C# / .NET and SQL Server with hands-on exposure to React / Next.js. You’ll collaborate with frontend, QA, AI, and product teams to deliver production-grade features.

Job description

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who treats engineering as structured problem-solving, not a checklist of technologies. You’ll own backend systems from design to production — modeling data, designing APIs, optimizing performance, and making architectural decisions that hold up as the system grows. The core of the role is C# / .NET and SQL Server, with hands‑on exposure to React / Next.js. We care more about how you reason through complex engineering problems than whether you have worked with every technology in our stack. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys untangling complexity, improving existing systems, designing clean solutions, and taking genuine ownership.

You’ll have meaningful influence over technical direction and will work closely with frontend, QA, AI, and product teams to deliver production-ready features.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems using C# / .NET.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable, and production-grade code.
• Design and optimize SQL Server databases, including schema design, complex queries, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning.

• Identify bottlenecks, debug complex issues, and continuously improve system performance and reliability.
• Use AI development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and ChatGPT intelligently for planning, development, debugging, testing, and productivity.
• Take ownership of features from technical design through production deployment and support.
  

Must Have ( Non-Negotiable)

• 4+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in C# / .NET.
• Strong practical experience with SQL Server, including:
• Data modeling
• Stored procedures
• Indexing
• Query optimization
• Performance tuning
• Hands‑on experience with React.js / Next.js.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, backend architecture, and system design.
• Experience making technical decisions around performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

• Ability to reason through engineering trade-offs rather than simply following predefined specifications.
