Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Delhi, India seeks a dialysis technician to operate hemodialysis machines and support patients through treatment, ensuring safety and comfort during each session.

You will prepare dialysate, prime circuits, label patient lines, monitor equipment, and maintain logs, while upholding clean, compliant practices in a fast paced clinical environment. Teamwork and patient empathy are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating hemodialysis equipment.

• Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Attaches dialyzer and tubing, priming circuits with saline.
• Labels dialyzer and lines with patient name and ID.
• Prepares dialysis solutions and bicarbonate as per formula.
• Explains the dialysis procedure to patients to ease anxiety.
• Connects machine to patient access site to start dialysis.
• Monitors machine for malfunctions during treatment.
• Maintains all logbooks, forms and registers.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates hemodialysis machine to provide dialysis treatment for patients with kidney failure
• Attach dialyzer and tubing to machine and prime the extracorporeal circuits with 0.9% normal saline to prepare machine for use.
• Label dialyzer & blood lines with patient name & ID prior to the first use (excluded single use).
• Preparing dialysis solutions and mixing bicarbonate according to formula
• Explains dialysis procedure and operation of hemodialysis machine to patient before treatment to allay anxieties.
• Connects hemodialysis machine to patient’s access site to initiate dialysis.
• Monitor hemodialysis machine for malfunction.
• Maintain all the logbooks, forms & registers.
