Job summary

Infosys is seeking a seasoned IT infrastructure specialist to lead and advance enterprise infrastructure across DevOps, automation, security, and production support. The role emphasizes data protection with Rubrik, DB2 on z/OS reliability, and CIS/STIG-aligned vulnerability management.

The candidate will drive automation via Kafka, GitLab Pipelines, Terraform, Ansible, and AWS, while supporting IBM BigFix, SCCM, and cross-platform admin skills.

Responsibilities

• Expertise across enterprise infrastructure, DevOps, automation, security, and production support environments.
• Backup and recovery using Rubrik for data protection and rapid restoration.
• DB2 on z/OS administration including performance, recovery, and production stability.
• Vulnerability and Patch Management aligned to CIS and STIG standards.
• DevOps and automation using Kafka, GitLab Pipelines, Terraform, Ansible, and AWS for CI/CD and IaC.
• IBM BigFix, SCCM, configuration management across Windows, Linux, and AIX with Ansible automation.
• Server automation, workflow orchestration, observability with monitoring, telemetry, and scripting.
• Virtualization and HCI platforms like VMware and Nutanix AOS; SRE practices.
• IBM middleware and security tech including DataPower, Event Gateways, IBM IVIA, OAuth integrated via automation.
• Linux/Unix/Mainframe admin and production support for high availability and incident resolution.
• Redis and GemFire for high-performance in-memory data processing.
• QA testing (functional/regression), hardware asset management, workflow automation across Linux/Windows.
• Project Management and Scrum Master experience within ITSM banking domain.
• Integration of Pega platforms with Elastic and Kafka for scalable, event-driven solutions.

• Skilled in DevOps and automation using Kafka, GitLab Pipelines, Terraform, Ansible, and AWS, enabling CI/CD, eventdriven architectures, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Comprehensive tool support for IBM BigFix, SCCM, and configuration management across Windows, Linux, and AIX, including automation via Ansible Automation Platform.
• Strong background in server automation, workflow orchestration, and observability with monitoring, telemetry, reporting, and scripting.
• Experienced in virtualization and HCI platforms such as VMware and Nutanix AOS, along with SRE practices to improve reliability and operational efficiency.
