Job summary

SmartSoC is seeking a DevOps, QA & Support Engineer to support a modern web platform handling structured data and workflows. The role focuses on CI/CD automation, platform reliability, quality assurance, and production support, with exposure to AI assisted operations.

Key responsibilities include building CI/CD pipelines, container deployments, and production incident management, while collaborating with development and platform teams to improve reliability and testing automation.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with CI/CD and production support.
• Experience with containerization and DevOps tooling is essential.
• Exposure to AI assisted operations or automation is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage containerized deployments with Docker and OpenShift.
• Configure and maintain Nginx for routing and security.
• Manage artifacts with JFrog Artifactory.
• Support source control and release workflows (Git/Bitbucket).
• Perform QA validation and regression testing.
• Provide production support, incident triage and root cause analysis.
• Drive automation, monitoring, and reliability improvements.
• Contribute to AI assisted automation for testing and monitoring.

The role focuses on CI/CD automation, platform reliability, quality assurance, and production support, working closely with development and platform teams. Exposure to AI assisted operations and automation is a strong advantage.

Role & responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Tekton or Jenkins.
• Manage containerized deployments using Docker and OpenShift.
• Configure and maintain Nginx for application routing and security.
• Manage artifacts and dependencies using JFrog Artifactory.
• Support source control and release workflows using Git / Bitbucket.
• Perform QA validation, regression testing, and release verification.
• Provide production support, incident triage, and root cause analysis.
• Drive automation, monitoring, and reliability improvements.
• Contribute to AI assisted automation for testing, monitoring, or support workflows.

Preferred candidate profile

• 35 years of experience in DevOps, QA, or Application Support roles.
• Hands on experience with:

• Understanding of CI/CD, release management, and environment support.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
