Qualifications

• 8+ years in SaaS cloud operations and development.
• 10+ years industry experience.
• Fundamentals of Azure, AWS and GCP—Compute, Network, Database, Security, Observability.
• Hands-on in building CI/CD pipelines for system software and apps.
• Proficient in Python, Ruby, Go or Java.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes and Docker.

Priten Nayak, the VP of Cloud Operations at Perforce, is searching for a Senior DevOps Engineer III, India to design and build the next-generation cloud platform for Perforce’s SaaS product portfolio. In this role, you will drive the design, development, and implementation of automated tools and technologies to ensure the security, reliability, and high availability of all production and CI/CD environments and applications. You will also lead the adoption of AI‑assisted CloudOps practices and agentic automation to improve operational efficiency, security, incident response, and platform reliability across the software delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Build platforms and frameworks to create consistent, verifiable, and automatic management of applications and infrastructure between non‑production and production environments.
• Mentor exceptional engineers and DevOps developers on Cloud technology and practice.
• Implement application security best practices throughout the agile SDLC.
• Foster and advocate for a DevOps culture to ensure efficient testing, delivery, and deployment of all software artifacts.
• Lead the development and enhancements of our CI/CD pipeline infrastructure and tools.
• Establish technical design principles and practices and drive them across all product portfolios to make operation design a must‑have phase of the development lifecycle.
• Develop a technical design for our cloud platform, a framework, and work with Dev and DevOps teams to ensure the product meets our quality standards.
• Design and implement platform capabilities that enable AI agents to securely automate operational workflows while maintaining governance and auditability.

Requirements

• BS/MS/BTech in Computer Science, Engineering, Management, or a related field preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in the SaaS software cloud operation and development space; 10+ years of industry experience.
• Deep understanding of fundamental services on Azure, AWS, and GCP such as Compute, Network, Database, Security, Management, and Observability.
• Expertise in managing and building CI/CD pipelines for system software, operating systems, and libraries.
• Expertise in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Ruby, Go, Java.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container technology.
• Hands‑on experience as a software developer and technical leader.
• Deep technical knowledge of cloud‑based scalable web application architectures and technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in driving secure SDLC with DevSecOps practices and metrics.
• Hands‑on development with infrastructure as code frameworks such as Terraform; Serverless Framework a plus.
• Experience in DevOps IaC tools like Terraform.
• Understanding of agentic AI concepts, autonomous workflows, orchestration frameworks, tool calling, and human‑in‑the‑loop operational models.
• Define guardrails, security controls, and governance mechanisms for AI‑driven automation to ensure compliance, reliability, and responsible AI adoption.
• Experience designing AI‑assisted operational automation for incident response, infrastructure management, deployment workflows, or developer productivity.
