Job summary

Clover Infotech is seeking an experienced Platform/DevOps engineer to collaborate with platform and product teams. The role focuses on educating teams about the new platform, services, and features, ensuring smooth transitions and optimized consumption.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with service mesh, CI/CD, IaC, and cloud platforms, and can drive automation and reliability across environments in a fast-paced Agile/DevOps setup.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with service mesh and GitHub Actions.
• Proficient in DevOps methodologies and automation.
• Strong infrastructure and security knowledge.
• Excellent cross-team communication and stakeholder management.
• Automation of deployment and configuration management for scalable environments.
• Troubleshooting of infra and app issues with Dev/Ops collaboration.
• Proficiency in CI/CD using Kubernetes/OpenShift and public clouds (Azure/AWS/OCI).
• Knowledge of microservice auth (OAuth2.0) and API communications.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and other IaC tools.
• Understanding of logging/monitoring with ELK, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Familiarity with GitOps tools like ArgoCD.
• Ability to work from inception to delivery and handle pressure.

Job Descriptions:

The engineer will work closely with other Platform and Product teams in educating them on the new Platform, services and features to ensure any transition and consumption is optimal. Teams work using Agile + DevOps + Product Management methodologies, delivering work packages based on the priority in the backlog.

Key Requirements:

• Practical Hands-on experience on Service mesh and GitHub actions.


• Experienced in DevOps methodology


• Sound infrastructure and security knowledge


• Clear internal and external communication, improving transparency across teams and stakeholders


• Automate deployment and configuration management tasks to ensure consistent and scalable environments.


• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues in collaboration with development and operations teams.


• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for deployments on Container Technologies like Native Kubernetes, OpenShift or Public Cloud Like Microsoft Azure/AWS/OCI.


• Sound Knowledge on Micro Service Authentication and Authorization process.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and manage different environments using Terraform, Ansible, and other IaC tools.


• Sound Knowledge on Public Cloud Provider like Microsoft Azure/AWS/OCI.


• Strong understanding of Jenkins-based Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment/Delivery (CICD) with automation using Shared Library, Pipeline Code, Groovy or Python scripting


• Understanding of Gitops tool like ArgoCD.


• Strong understanding on logging and monitoring solution like ELK, Prometheus and Grafana


• Knowledge about API communications (Rest/Soap), developing a new consumer/publisher for any API


• Understanding of OAuth2.0 standards


• Ability to work on projects from inception to delivery


• Cross skills in delivery but also operational support as per the new DevOps methodologies


• Comprehensive understanding of DevOps / SRE, IaC and 12 Factor application principles


• Ability to work under pressure, manage client expectations effectively


• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies
