Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in Bengaluru to design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines. You will manage Git repositories, build systems with Maven, and integrate security and quality tooling.

The role requires hands‑on expertise with Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and observability stacks (Prometheus, ELK, OpenTelemetry). You will collaborate with UK and Poland stakeholders to ensure smooth releases and operations.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in DevOps and hands‑on expertise in CI/CD pipelines.
• Systems administration experience with RedHat Linux.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code experience with Ansible, Terraform, and Puppet.
• Container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Observability with Prometheus, ELK, and OpenTelemetry.
• DevOps tooling: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, Maven, Docker, Rundeck.
• Messaging: Kafka and related MQs.
• Programming in Python, Perl, PowerShell, Bash, Java, or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry‑standard tools and best practices.
• Manage and optimize source code repositories (Git) including branching strategies.
• Configure and manage build and dependency management with Maven or similar tools.
• Integrate and manage code quality and security scanning (SonarQube, SAST/DAST).

• Develop automation scripts in Shell, Groovy, and Python for build and deployment tasks.
• Implement observability solutions using Prometheus, ELK Stack, and OpenTelemetry.
• Collaborate with release management to plan and execute multi‑environment releases.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in build, deploy, and production environments.

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines . You will be working with stakeholders across the UK and Poland and must to have hands‑on expertise in Ansible and on‑premises DevOps is essential .

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry‑standard tools and best practices.
• Manage and optimize source code repositories (Git), including branching and merge strategies (GitFlow, trunk‑based, etc.).
• Configure and maintain build and dependency management using Maven (or similar tools).
• Integrate and manage code quality and security scanning tools (e.g., SonarQube, SAST/DAST) as part of DevSecOps.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Groovy, and Python for build, deployment, and operational tasks.
• Implement and support observability solutions using Prometheus, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and OpenTelemetry.
• Collaborate with release management teams to plan, coordinate, and execute application releases across environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in build, deployment, and production environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of release processes, toolchains, and operational runbooks

• Programming in either of one language: Python/ Perl/ Power shell/ Bash /Java/Angular JS/ Spring.
