Job summary

Terralogic in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong Kubernetes, Rancher Kubernetes Engine (RKE), Docker and CI/CD expertise to manage containerized microservices and automate deployments.

You will support production environments, improve platform reliability, and work with Python, Shell and Ansible to automate operations in a cloud-native setup.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of container orchestration and microservices
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Rancher Kubernetes Engine (RKE)
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Proficient in scripting with Python and Shell

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead upgrades, downgrades, and packaging of microservices in Kubernetes
• Package and deploy builds in Kubernetes using Docker, VMs, and Ansible
• Respond to production issues and design scalable database deployments for containerized apps
• Develop automation scripts in Python, Shell, and Ansible
• Create Docker images and manage containers in production environments
• Collaborate using Jira/Bitbucket/Jenkins workflows

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes, RKE (Rancher Kubernetes Engine), Docker, and CI/CD. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience managing containerized microservices, automating deployments, supporting production environments, and improving platform reliability.

Key responsibilities:

• Orchestrate/ Architect software apps required to Lead design of upgrades, downgrades and package of microservices in Kubernetes environment for development, production and post-production
• Package & Deploy the builds in Kubernetes environment using /Dockers/Virtual Machines/Ansibles[Sandbox & Production Nodes.]
• Handle production issues, support new microservice apps & database design for deployments in containerized environments
• Good at yaml, Python, Shell, Ansible Scripts
• Docker/container: Must know how to create docker images and create containers
• Must be familiar with JIRA, BITBUCKET, JENKINS
• Must know either of MySQL/Mongodb database management
• Domain : Microservice Applications

Value Add:

• Exposure to ELK, Kafka, Development experience
• ClickHouse , Influx DB expertise, Good understanding of Janusgraph
• Well-versed with microservices and microfrontend architecture
• Ability to perform Scans and CVE checks and figure our critical findings
