Job summary

GlobalLogic in Bengaluru, India, seeks an experienced Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to lead a high-performing team and scale CI/CD, IaC, and cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with security and product teams to improve reliability, security, and observability, and continuously elevate DevOps practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure/GCP as secondary).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, ArgoCD).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the DevOps team, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
• Define and drive DevOps strategy, standards, and best practices across projects.
• Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Drive containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security across environments.
• Establish monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, security, and product teams to enable continuous delivery.
• Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards.
• Manage release processes, environment strategies, and deployment automation.
• Mentor junior engineers and support team skill development.
