Job summary

Tech Holding is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with 6+ years of hands-on cloud experience to lead end-to-end cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. The role emphasizes GCP-native services, Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD, observability, and governance.

You will work with engineering teams and clients to deliver scalable, cost-optimized, and secure systems. Qualified candidates will have strong GCP skills, Terraform experience, and exposure to AWS/Azure.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles.
• GCP-focused with AWS/Azure exposure a plus.
• Terraform-based provisioning with Ansible is a plus.
• Strong GCP networking including Shared VPCs, Load Balancing, NAT, Armor.
• Experience with GKE and Cloud Run; familiarity with EKS/AKS/ECS is a plus.
• CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build or GitHub Actions.
• Scripting in Python, Go, or Bash for automation.
• Observability with logging, metrics and alerting.
• IAM & Admin, workload identity and security practices.
• Experience with Windows and Linux VMs in cloud environments.
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer (6+ years experience) with strong expertise in GCP and working knowledge of AWS and/or GCP to lead end-to-end cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.

This role focuses on designing and operating secure, scalable, and production-grade cloud platforms, with emphasis on GCP-native services, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, observability, and cloud governance. You will work closely with engineering teams, architects and clients to deliver highly available, cost-optimized, and compliant systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles.
• Strong production experience with GCP, exposure to AWS or Azure is a plus and willingness to learn and work across other cloud or hybrid environments as needed.
• Deep hands-on experience in designing and managing Terraform based infrastructure provisioning. Experience of configuration management tools such as Ansible is a plus.
• Strong expertise in designing and securing GCP network architectures, including Shared VPCs, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud NAT, Cloud Armor, and VPC Service Controls.
• Strong experience with container orchestration platforms such as GKE (must-have) and serverless containers like Cloud Run. Exposure to EKS, AKS, ECS is a plus.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Proven expertise in scripting languages like Python, Go, or Bash to build tailored automation solutions, integrate APIs, and develop custom tooling.
• Experience working with serverless and event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding and hands on production experience of implementing observability solutions including logging, metrics and alerting using cloud native or open source tools.
• Hands-on experience of identity, access management and governance in GCP IAM & Admin, Service Accounts, workload Identity.
• Experience in administering Windows and Linux based Cloud virtual machines, including Cloud Identity, AD integration, storage, networking, backup, performance optimization, access control, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Experience designing and managing databases, knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL and MS SQL.
• Strong troubleshooting and Hands on experience in incident management, conducting root cause analysis.
• Good communication skills with experience interacting with clients.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Certifications in AWS, GCP, Azure, Terraform, or Kubernetes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
